"Great wings and french onion soup"
"Food was excellent, once we got it. Place was kind of loud, which is expected, but we had to raise our voices just for the waitress to hear our order and some of was incorrect anyways (both toppings and sides). They were not busy, we had a party of 8, which I don't feel is a lot for a tap room, but the food took forever to come out. When we did get it, it arrived in pieces- for example I had my sandwich eaten, and it was still another 5-10 minutes after when I got my onion rings, which were placed in a basket with another order of rings to share with the person at the other side of the table. Our waitress was friendly and kept our drinks filled though."
"We had a very mixed experience this week in having dinner and playing trivia while watching the Sabres game. Positives: Trivia was very fun and the host did a great job. Our waitress was attentive and we never had to wait long for a drink despite it being a full house. Negatives: I ordered a draft beer and it was sour and undrinkable. It might have been the first pour of the day from that tap. I swapped it out for a can at the bar with no issue so really not a big deal. We came on wing night $.75/wing which is a solid deal. Our group of 5 ordered 30 wings but we're told they're out of wings and we could only get an order of 10. Given we arrived at 6:45 you would think they would have plenty of wings available but alas no luck. We pivoted to chicken fingers as the order for the group and these were the tiniest things I have ever seen. We joked that they were more nuggets than fingers. I have had better fingers from the frozen aisle and given the price it was a bit of a joke. Overall the place is nice with plenty of seating and it was a good atmosphere to watch a game. Dart boards, pool table and bubble hockey were a nice touch. I would definitely go back for beers but would likely avoid the food in the future."
"First things first here. Our waitress had incredible customer service! She was super friendly & attentive to our needs, But I would give this place a 0 star if i could. The crotchety old manager was miserable the second guests walked in her establishment. On top of the owner having 0 sense of class! I have never met an owner or a manager in any business setting with less class! Swearing and name calling the guests. Bumping into (several times) taking orders from other tables with 0 apology. Now onto the food. ICE COLD! Scrambled eggs… could taste the grittiness from the powder. Soggy ice cold bacon. And i swear my pancakes were still frozen. Even the food coming out smelled and looked like dirty oil! The only good part of the meal was the mimosa which was basically straight champagne. And if you would ever want to sit down to watch a sporting event… can’t hear a single thing threw the speakers. And the water taste like they scooped it out of a toilet bowl. Even smelled like it. Several of the staff members even told us the owner was screaming at them all day. And we were also told one staff member was there all night long. Someone needs to call the labor board. This man doesn’t have any business being a business owner."
"So it was a mixed experience here. The service from our waitress was poor. She said they have Pepsi products and gave an attitude when my husband asked for Dr.Pepper (a Pepsi product) and she said they don’t have that. Before we ordered our food she asked how the check should be split and we told her. When the check came out at the end, it was all on one bill. My friend told her that it needs to be separated. She was NOT happy with that. She said we should’ve told her was incredibly rude about it. (It was her mistake, we did tell her!) She also said tables can only be split into two bills and not anymore than that. I’ve never seen any restaurants that are like that before. All of us were polite; we never cause issues with service workers. At one point in our meal another worker took some of our dirty dishes and we asked her for boxes. She was very nice and helpful. Our waitress came back and seemed upset the other worker already got to go boxes for us. The wings were great, and so was my sandwich. The beer wasn’t as cold as I would’ve liked it to be. My food came out at a good temperature, but my friend’s food was a little cold."
