Reviews of Bill Gray's Henrietta
"Looks a little run down but still adequate for a decent family dinner. Semi clean through rush hour. Food was good and quick. We all enjoyed"
"When ordering fish dinner as I always do about a month ago while out shopping for my summer travels, my request is absolutely NO PLASTIC CONTAINERS containing condiments be placed INSIDE plate WITH hot fish. A Black young lady w glasses and braids apparently worked in kitchen but PROCESSED my order. Yet, NEGLECTED to make this request KNOWN to the other cook. Plus my request for "Senior discount" was NOT honored as she assured. I dined in, so upon receiving my fish dinner, low & behold, the PLASTIC container of tartar sauce was "placed on top of my fish" rather than placed on tray, ignoring my request. I pointed this out to the young white girl who provided/prepared it by requesting a new piece of fish and she gave me MUCH ATTITUDE. Then did so reluctantly. My suggestion is to "refrain from dining here after 5pm" because apparently NO MANAGER IS ON SITE or VISIBLE during entire time I was there which was observed previously when I do take outs. I enjoy seeing young people working but my question is: WHO'S COACHING/TRAINING or HOLDING these youth ACCOUNTABLE? The service was extremely poor & individuals were highly unprofessional. Of course this presents a real challenge especially when most folks come here for dinner, etc. AFTER 5pm. Mind you, it was a weekday and NOT BUSY. Even more reason to have a MANAGER ON SITE to oversee how workers conduct themselves. Additionally the tables were "unclean." I've now decided that this is a place that I intend to AVOID going forward concluding major improvements are very much needed."
"On 7/1/23 I walked in just after opening proceeded to go to the restroom before ordering food.. A young female employee was standing in there on a personal call. She walked out when I came in. It looked like a bomb went off in the ladies rest room. EVERY stall was disgusting. ALL toilets were overflowing, trash all over the floor. I exited and asked the young lady if she had noticed how desperately the restroom needed service. She was walking around the dining room doing nothing while STILL on the phone. She replied, oh ok, I'll let someone know. She proceeded to do nothing, still on the phone. I spoke to the manager who apologized and promised to take care of it. The young lady was apparently told mop the floor. She walked to the lobby with the mop sopping wet dripping puddles across the entire restaurant leaving a huge fall risk for customers. No caution signs etc. Now the manager is seen sitting in a booth with another employee. Bathroom untouched 30 mins later. I observe another customer walk into the restroom and circle out with a look of shock on her face. This restaurant does not uphold standards of management, safety, or cleanliness. One can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. Attached photos are 1 hour after request to clean bathroom. I was the only customer for more than 35 minutes. Manager needs to be fired."
"Big family friendly place, counter service restaurant. Was it the world’s greatest cheeseburger, no but it was good and it did the job for my hungry family. The service was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. If my kit were younger and we lived in the area this would probably be our go to place."
"My first impression was, really, restaurants are built this way too? It’s something uniquely designed, such a vast place and many tables to sit. There are 2 person to 10 person occupancy tables. They have a lot of parking spaces to accomodate, and they have wifi too. Coming to food, I have ordered chicken fingers plate. I felt chicken fingers may have been better. Pricing is regular. Workers are really polite. Planning on visiting other Bill Grays too."
