The Original Pancake House

"Decided to give this a try based on the reviews, wasn't terribly disappointed. I ordered the Dutch Baby, which took about 20 mins to cook, but it was 10am on a Thursday and they were pretty slow. The texture was very nice, almost like a crepe with puffy sides. The waitress was incredibly nice and prepared my Dutch Baby at the table. Overall I would give it a 4.5, as it there were no other options besides strawberry topping. I would liked to have tried a few of the pancake options as there were several. The price is kinda high, as I was looking at adding an egg and saw it was like $2.65 ??? For ONE egg?? The coffee here is fantastic though and the creamer is served in a carafe, nice and cold. Not those half and half packets that sit on the table room temp for who knows how long. The coffee cups, however nice they were, were hard to handle as they were wide and the tiny handle was too small to fit my finger in. The decor in this place isn't great and the carpet in the entry way is pretty foul. All together I'd give it another shot if nothing else but to try the waffles."

"We've been coming to the Original Pancake House for decades. We're impressed with how consistent they've been over the years and our visit today was no exception. Service was efficient and friendly and food was excellent. Pecan pancakes are always a favorite for us."

"The food was terrific. I got a giant kielbasa and cheddar omelette with 3 pancakes. My friend got raspberry crepes. The lady next to us got a Dutch Baby which is a oven baked pancake with strawberries, lemon and whipped cream. See pictures."

"Loved our breakfast here on a Sunday morning! The place was pretty full but you can check in and wait for around 10-15 mins to get a table ! The menu has a lot of different pancakes and the breakfast items ! We took a Veggie Omelette, the regular pancakes and buckwheat pancakes! The food served was generous and the pancakes are delicious served with a dollop of whipped butter and syrup . The omelette was really delicious too. Disclaimer - the servings are generous so order one and split if you want and don’t waste food ! Definitely will be returning to try their signature pancakes!"

"Really great spot if you love pancakes, or just breakfast in general. They have a large menu of great breakfast options. Highly recommend their Dutch baby or apple baby, which is a huge oven baked stuffed pancake. Super delicious! Also loved their cream cheese strawberry crepe's. Staff is as super friendly as well."
