"EXCELLENT PROUCTS, SERVICE AND KNOWLEDGE. We couldn't be more satisfied with our whole-house backup generator from Gas Outdoor Power Equipment. We checked a couple other companies that sell and service generators and found their prices to be SEVERAL thousand dollars more! There are other generators besides Generac which are just as reliable with a better warranty, and Shawn will choose the right one for you.. None of the people we talked to have the product knowledge, Grid and Industry knowledge that Shawn has. The installation was painstakingly flawless and subsequent service has been very dependable and reasonably priced. Shawn has immediately answered his phone every time I have called. I enjoy talking to Shawn when he comes for service because he provides a lot of insight on the direction the industry is going so we can plan for the eventual transition away from as much dependence on fossil fuel. Shawn let us know that even the addition of an electric heat pump could affect our backup requirements. This is the way a business should be run which is so rare today! "Shocked by the price increase. Last year the rate was $0.98 per mile and that is what is on the web site today. This year he charged me $3.00 a mile. A $99 service cost plus parts plus $198 for the 66 mile round trip drive. Does great work but I thought I was paying for his mechanical services not his driving."
