Secret Lentil

"You are walking in the heat of summer on concrete, then asphalt. Everything is covered in a light yellow steam, and the brightness hurts your eyes. You walk into a building DELAVAN it says, and you hear a LOUD LAUGH as soon as you're inside its coolness. You're overcome with the desire to find this laugh; this laugh is fabric folded like sand after a tide, a purple soft berry brushing against a leathery leaf in a breeze, linen that snaps in the wind and comes to rest across your face. You follow the LOUD LAUGH through corridors, to the friends you know but have never met, a secret you have kept from yourself. You walk into the studio. "Go ahead, you can touch it!" LOUD LAUGH."
