Progressive Insurance - Claims Office

"Our 2013 Acura TSX was a total loss after it was rear ended by Progressive's insured. The vehicle was in excellent condition, paid off, reliable, and my wife's daily driver to work. The initial settlement offer was decent, but still below the price we would pay for an identical car with tax, tags, and fees and would also not have covered repairs for us to continue drive, with a salvaged title at that. I was okay until the "Condition Adjustments" report from the adjuster. He deducted upwards of $600, with with the majority of that amount being issues caused from the accident. Super shady and clearly a dishonest evaluation. The only reason this is not a 1 star rating is due to Chandler's excellent handling of the settlement process. He was professional, friendly, and had great communication throughout the entire process, so thank you for that and for dealing and working with me on reaching a final settlement . Bottom line is, even a non at-fault accident will cause major inconvenience and the insurance company is not your friend. Lose-lose situation and major headache."

"I received an email from Progressive asking me to pay a 2000 dollars bill without any early notice. And it is due in two days. I called and what they said is: because your policy was not complete one month ago. (My policy showed I paid for in full on the bill, even though it was not complete, they should say in the policy statement.) It was ridiculous. Instead of Progressive, the company should call themselves Aggressive. Hate the service. Because with them, they could be very scary."

"Horrible. Waste my time. If you using their insurance, time to find a new one. If you’re think about using them, don’t do it please. I do not why so hard to find a body shop the take progressive. i asked if they can recommended me a shop that work with them. Only give me one. I couldn’t get an appointment with that shop. I called and texted asking for help to look for a shop. Told me i can find one myself. I found one and took my car their for the estimate. They said that shop was too expensive, i have i pay out of my pocket. That’s so fun, how my 4 months old car got hit by their customers and i have a pay the difference. Worst ever."

"Horrible insurance I have full coverage insurance Deandre M Stinson will not reimburse me for towing said he over paid me for my car seats even though there was a receipt how much I paid for the car seats and will not reimburse me for rental which I have coverage on my policy for. Only paying for half of the damage to my vehicle. Will be filing a complaint with NAIC!"

"It's a shame to consistently pay insurance premiums on time. Then when an unfortunate accident happens and a claim is filed, no one seems to care about getting the car fixed. Claim filed 7/7/23 and still, 8/4/23, my husband is waiting for the adjustor to come out. Been told weekly someone was coming, only to receive a cancelation text the morning of....3 weeks in a row. Finally we filed a complaint with the NC Dept of Insurance last week. And still waiting to get full estimate for car to get fixed. This has put us in a bind with only 1 car when we both work full time but also different hours. Something needs to be done. We're expected to have insurance and pay for a service..but what does Progressive do???. NOTHING at all but cause a bigger headache and hardship."
