"In fairness to the owner, it was an off night. He was very friendly and honest. Two of our group ordered fish sandwiches. He came back after a bit and said they would be a while longer because he didn't like the way the fish looked. He had the cook make some fresh. So points for that. I ordered a burger and made a point of asking if I could get it looked rare. No problem he said. It came out well done. We were the only people there, so it shouldn't have been too hard to make sure it wasn't over cooked. Shame on me for not letting him know. So... here it is. Cool place, great guy owner, average food at best."

"Great trail stop. 12 of us walked after 11pm on 01/20/17 and the kitchen was closed. The bartender offered to reopen the kitchen even though he was the only one on and had other people at the bar. He was hustling the whole time and the service was awesome. Cool place and a good stop on the trail."

"Awesome place! We brought our 2 year old and had a great experience over 4th of July weekend! The owner made sure we were comfortable and even made sure the music from the bar could not be heard when our daughter was sleeping!!!!! Great playground for the little one and a small area for her to play in the water. Thank you so much to everyone at Duffy's!!!!!"
