"The upper river guided tour was an amazing half day of fun. It was my first time white water kayaking and the perfect mix of river cruising and excitement in the rapids. The instructors quickly get you up to speed, and do a great job of interacting with the guests. I would place this very high on the entertainment to value spectrum. It was affordable and fun, and I will definitely seek out more similar adventures. The photo package only needs to be purchased by one person in the group, you will have access to all of the photos for download. My only complaint is that the resolution of the photos is low. The average photo was about 2.5 mb about half of the size/resolution of a modern iPhone. It’s an ancient digital camera being used, and it would be inexpensive to upgrade it for daily use. Don’t plan on printing these photos into an 8x10 or you will likely not be pleased with the quality. Despite the photos, it’s an amazing experience and one I would recommend to anyone looking for some fun. The hike out is challenging and straight up hill carrying your raft. It might be a challenge for a smaller child or for a parent forced to carry 2 rafts. Highly recommend doing this. Our tour lasted about 2.5 hours including the hike up it and ride back to downtown Saluda."

"On August 12, 2023, at three in the afternoon, we had the incredible opportunity to embark on a thrilling kayaking adventure with Green Rivera Adventure. Although I forgot the name of our guide, I want to highlight that he was a friendly, patient young man with blond, curly hair. Being our first time in white-water rapids, his support and guidance made us feel secure and enthusiastic. The kayak journey through the rapids was an absolutely unforgettable experience. The thrill of navigating the turbulent waters is something we won’t forget anytime soon. As we navigated the river, we were captivated by the natural beauty surrounding us. The facility itself was immaculately clean and well-maintained. It’s evident that Green Rivera Adventure is dedicated to providing visitors with a fabulous environment to enjoy their adventure. The friendly attention we received from every team member was exceptional. From the moment we arrived until we left, we felt at home due to their warm treatment and constant care. The transfer from the facility to the river was both exciting and picturesque. It added an extra layer of excitement to the experience and allowed us to soak in the breathtaking views of the surroundings. This level of attention to detail truly set the tone for our overall experience. In summary, on August 12, 2023, Green Rivera Adventure delivered a kayaking adventure that exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The friendly team, exhilarating journey, attentive care, and pristine setting combined to create an exceptional experience. "This was the best experience ever! I did the upper river kayak tour. For someone who enjoys high thrills but also wanting to be safe, this is the thing to do. I’ve been white water rafting on a group tube but never on a solo kayak, I honestly loved this better! It took some getting used to to steer the kayak but you build up to the class 2 and 3 rapids so you’re a lot more confident conquering them! The guides were very experienced and SUPER detailed and informative on upcoming rapids so you knew what to expect and how to go through it successfully. I went by myself and I had a FABULOUS time!!"
