"Gorgeous hike to spectacular falls! We just discovered the "original" trail, off of 107, with no marked trailhead (just an orange gate), and it is a much gentler stroll than the up and down hike down to the falls from Lake Glenville. Bring a picnic!"
"Steep trail down gravel, wood and rock stairs. More of a difficulty adventure but worth it once you get to the falls. Took me around 45 minutes to careful walk down slippery rocks and timber steps 1 mile. Around 30 minutes back up with 6 stops to catch my breathe. Go to the North Trailhead for an easier hike."
"Amazing hike to the falls. At a slow pace will take you about 2 hrs to get there. It's moderately challenging but if you're sturdy footed it's easy. Note: Park at the side of the road where the Orange gates are. Do not drive up that road as it's a dead end suitable for 4x4 only!! Shortly after starting the hike there's a Y on the trail. The right side is wider but it's a private road, you therefore enter using the smaller left path. When you come to the very end of the hike that's when the last 100m gets very tough with large rocks and boulders. Fallen trees etc. Your path is stopped by huge boulders. However look carefully to the left there's a path around these boulders. You'll need to climb over them."
"Absolutely amazing. I'd say high intermediate to medium hiker ability to really enjoy this. Well kept with stunning views. My trek was mid afternoon..which gave great lights and darks for the photographer...I'll definitely be back."
"It's one of my favorite waterfalls in the area. There's different levels to it. There's a sort of amphitheater effect the way the cliffs surround the falls. There are plenty of places to sit. Have a picnic, take photos, soak in the views, and if you're adventurous enough, take a dip in the cool waters!"
