"Lighting was a little dark for me and the building itself needs to update the plumbing and repair the ceiling in some places. The food was AWESOME though and the chef and waitress were great!"
"The food is always outstanding, and you will have a ton of leftovers! We love the filet, red snapper, and their jumbo shrimp dinners. The interior is dated which is why the atmosphere only gets 3 stars. However, the food makes up for it."
"Food was good, and we have been there many times, but we had a person in our group with severe allergies. We called before we went and were told her food would be prepared in back to avoid triggering allergies. Even though we were also assured when we got there this would be done, it was not and the food was prepared at the table. Dairy and soy were both added, even though we tried to stop the chef from putting it in. She could not eat her meal. Very, very disappointing. We will not be back."
"I took my wife here for her bday because I'm not a Japanese food fan. It was really neat watching him prepare and cook the food right in front of us. The food was really good, but the house soup was amazing. I would definitely enjoy returning here again in the near future!"
"So I went for my birthday tonight, and....it was mostly good. Good conversation, other people seated with us were nice and had pleasant conversation. The food was...for the most part good. However, the chicken was way overcoooked. It was so dry and crispy it was like a chicken tender almost. Giving it three stars because while everything else was good, the chicken totally ruined the meal for me which is a selling point of this restaraunt. Maybe next time will be better, and no one else will have this issue, but I want people aware that this did happen and may happen to them."
