"We went in today to have our hot tub water tested and to buy chemicals. The sales lady we dealt with seemed very bothered by our questions and was very smart mouthed and rude. I was hoping to find a new place to buy chemicals going forward and hopefully the other staff members are better with customer service."
"The girls at Hot Tubs Etc were extremely helpful for a new to the STR member in the community. I was short on time and they really accommodated me on the delivery of my video games and foosball table. Even going further, as I thought I needed a new panel for my hot tub and she said it was more likely the sticker that goes over it. She was right! Love the honesty!"
"Too bad they don't offer negative star ratings. I called because the motor was very loud. They charged me $254 for 2 $12 bearings between the service charge and labor. Still made noise and wasn't working properly so they told me I needed a new motor. I got a used one and it cost me another $350. I called again because now the water wasn't getting hot. After another service charge they said now I needed a whole new spa control. Another $1300 bill. Still not working properly and throwing codes. After a run around for over a week of them telling me to try different things that didn't work, I told them they needed to get out there. They said the motor I just bought was bad and 1 week out of warranty. If they came out when I first called I would have been within the warranty period but they dragged it out. After another service charge and $973 later I had another motor. They also don't tell you when they are coming so be prepared to waste your entire day if they even show up because they won't call you or give you a time. A $250 fix cost me $2861. I have never felt so ripped off. I called to speak to them about the charges and they couldn't care less. They quote you a price and leave out the service and labor charges so it comes as even more of a shock when you get your bill. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE service. I don't recommend them and will never use them again!!"
