"Great easy trail. It is at the end of very rural neighborhood. Good for kids. We went on a weekday so it wasn't very crowded. The parking area was small probably less than 10 spots and it is easy to miss. Otherwise the falls and trail were very pleasant and beautiful to hike"
"This is easy trail, and the falls are nice. I climbed down the falls and back up the other side. It is not part of the trail and doesn't require you to do so, but with proper shoes etc...it is relatively easy. However, be very careful as rocks near falls get very slippery and you could easily be injured."
"Easy and beautiful hiking trail! Love taking my kids here as the trail is enough for my kiddos to hike, easy enough, and super rewarding for not a lot of hard work! Ive heard you can continue up the trail to the top of the falls, but with little kiddos, I've always stuck to only hiking to the base of the falls. Enjoy!"
"Beautiful falls set back in a residential area. Would not have know about it of it wasn't for Melanie (owner) from the Catawba River Inn. Not much parking. But a pretty straight forward path straight back to the falls. We spent about 30-45 there. I think if you start climbing up there may have been more to see at the upper level of the falls, but we wanted to get to dinner. Being so easy to get to I definitely recommend checking this area out if you are sightseeing"
"We stayed in the cabin that is only 10 min walking to this waterfall. Awesome place. When you come to the main waterfall, look for a path to the right and up. If you go there, you will get to a smaller waterfall, but it's a much harder path and about another 15 min."
