Springbrook Farms Carriage

"This was a very nice little tour through the city. Caroline was a great driver and told us about some of the history, plant life, and pointed out some of the interesting architecture around town. We loved the fact that the horses were rescued and are well cared for. They could use some cushions for the benches but other than that, an excellent experience."

"No call, no show. Waited per the website instructions. They never showed up. Business phone rang busy for the same hour. So many 5* reviews, what happened? Area is nice. But it certainly smells of heavy urine. And it's hot. Either there is a strong homeless population at night. or the horses are usually here. No one in the area knew anything abt the tour. Street parking is affordable. Pay by app. Less than $2 per hour. Paid for parking, then no show on the tour. Too bad."

"We did the private carriage ride and it was amazing! Our driver picked us up at The Embassy Suites and dropped us off our our dinner location. We learned about the history of Wilmington and got to see many of the older historic homes along the way. I was worried that booking on a summer day it would be too hot. We did our tour at 6::30pm and that was perfect. We had a wonderful breeze blowing from the carriage. This has by far been the best experience since moving to Wilmington. Can’t wait to do this again!!"

"We used Springbrook Farms for a carriage ride on our wedding night, and it was absolutely the perfect ending to a perfect day!! I truly felt like a princess! Bill and Lori were great to work with, and our horse, Jake, was so sweet!! We are so thankful that we used them and look forward to going on more rides with them in the future! :) P.S. For those who may be worried about the treatment of the animals, these horses were actually saved from being slaughtered! We were also told that the horse pulling our carriage is equivalent to an adult pushing a kid in a 15-pound stroller. We can tell that the staff truly love their horses and take great care of these beautiful animals! :)"
