"June 20 2023 update....The greens are looking so much better. So warm days early in the season and treating for the Poa got rid of it pretty quickly this spring. Last summer #7 was replaced along with the practice putting green which is now open.. A few greens are still rough around the edges..#8 #10 but most of the putting surface even on those two provide a decent pin position. Late in the day there are a lot of tiny ant hills on some greens and collar areas need to be treated for mole crickets before they get out of hand. Someone has been make an effort to fill small depressions on the greens with sand. As they continue to fill in that will smooth the surfaces even more. The dry weather has limited fairway grass growth but with rain in the forcast the next few days that should take care of the issue. It's pouring right now as I'm typing. The dry weather hasn't helped tee boxes...several are in poor shape #7 # 17 . Again the rain will help..so would some fertilizer?..like a lot...it would be nice to see some repairs of the fairway irrigation system. The greens are getting water but being at the mercy of rain or no rain can hurt you and that has been the case in May and June. Conditions should be very good these next few weeks going forward. April 2022 update....The warm weather has just started to wake up the bermuda grass fairways and greens....we have had a dry spring which isn't helping. The greens are fast but a few still have problems. They were sprayed to knock down the Poa but 10 and 14 are still really bumpy. There are a few greens with some bare spots (7 &10) around the edges but that damage generally don't come into play. Tee boxes are thin but look...this type of grass is not really growing fast yet and tees are not over seeded so give it a couple of weeks. Some sun, warmth and rain will get it in much better shape. For 25 to 35 bucks it's well worth it. Aug 2021Conditions have improved a lot over the last few weeks. Fairways are really good and plush so if you hit it fairly straight you should have a great lie. Greens are improving as well. Recent aeration and topdressing has grown back in. Recent spraying has taken care of some invasive grass on the greens that had been making them bumpy. A couple of greens are still healing from winter kill that hit a lot of southern courses 2 years ago but pins are located in the good areas. The Rough is pretty thick in some places as well so stay in the short grass. Tee Boxes are good but a few (mostly the par 3's) are a bit thin. New sand was added to most of the bunkers this spring so they are generally good. Some improvements were done on the cart paths. If we continue to get some rain showers conditions should be very good going into late summer/ fall. Spring conditions were really poor but it's well worth checking out right now. Best conditions of the year. I played Sunday Aug 8th and had a fun but hot round. There is water in play on 8 holes and although the terrain is fairly flat with some mounding on a few holes, you have to be on with your approach shots as almost every green is elevated.. 6 or 7 tree lined holes and a few almost links style open holes. Full disclosure I do live out here so I have seen its worst and best conditions. Hope this helps."
"This course is a fine place to learn golf, newer players to practice, or for a casual game. Prices are fair. Carts are well worn, but they have many so no worries about needing to wait for a cart. Fairways are decent, greens need more maintenance, there were many divots and holes filled with sand (note: while playing here, on 16June2023, the groundskeepers were performing maintenance on some of the greens.)The employees are friendly and helpful."
"Played for the first time on this course today. The homes and the community is gorgeous, unfortunately the course is not. The greens are horrible and need much attention. This course has a great layout with so much potential if they would only fix the greens. I personally will never play here again as I watched every putt bounce or run"
"I used to enjoy this course. It’s absolute trash now!!! The putting greens are infested with weeds and have bare sand spots on them. Your ball bounces everywhere no matter what you do. The tee boxes are literally sand and some are even in the fairway. The Greenskeepers decided to drive up on the green and change the pin location while I was literally taking my shot. I was chipping the ball onto the green and they drove up and relocated the pin. No regards for the paying customer that was in the middle of a shot. Absolute worst experience golfing ever. If I could get my money back, I would!"
