"Awesome tour on a beautiful river. The captain had some great stories to share and we saw a lot of the area. Competitive pricing - just be aware that even though on the Cape Fear Sightseeing Cruise booking site it says the boat has an air conditioned area, there are 2 different tour boats and the smaller one (The Captain Maffitt) doesn’t have AC. However you don’t know which boat you’ll be on until it’s confirmed. This was a bit misleading and disappointing, but the breeze was enough."

"My family had an amazing time on the river cruise! We learned a lot about the Wilmington area and it was a great way to sight see the area quickly since we were only in town for the day. The captain allowed my son to steer the boat on the way back and he was absolutely thrilled, he was just so proud of himself the whole day after his experience as "Captain". :) We'd love to come back and try the sunset cruise when we have another vacation near the beach."

"Captain Erica is amazing! She lead us on a very informative, interactive and fun tour of Cape Fear. We did the 2 o'clock on a Tuesday and our family of 5 were the only ones signed up, they could have cancelled but Erica was gracious and said "I'm running with 5". She even let our kiddos drive the boat and wear the captain's hat! Thank you again for a wonderful time!"

"The sunset cruise was worth every penny. The captain narrated the cruise and provided interesting information about the river and the town. We saw dolphins in the water. The captain stopped the boat so everyone could get a glimpse of the dolphins. The kids were allowed to briefly steer the boat. Overall good experience."

"We had a wonderful time on this hour long boat cruise along the Cape Fear River. Our Captain shared interesting and some historical facts. The boat has an open upper deck and an enclosed lower deck with air conditioning, restroom, and some refreshments."
