I will not recommend or return to his shop. He put the wrong date on my license and I Almost got fined by the game warden."

"Rude! Rude! We went to visit my friends that stayed there.We were staying at the Blankenship cabins up the road. Don came out and told us we had to pay to visit our friends. I tried to tell him in a very nice manner that we were just visiting for a little while. But he cut me off and in front of my child told me to "shut the hell up and let him talk". I have never been spoken to that way in my life. We had just spent around $300 at his store getting fishing license and tackle.I will never enter his store again. "Oh my what fun we had. Don and Gail were both wonderful to work with. The cabin was quaint and tidy and sat on a beautiful clear river with abundant trout. Especially abundant when after my none year old daughter struggled to get a catch...he placed a call to the hatchery and before long the river was filled. We spent two and a half days here and I wish it had been more! My hubby and I and my three kiddo ranging in age from 6-15 all had a great time. I highly recommend Big Dons for a family getaway!"
