"Scott & Kim are awesome. I see why they stay so busy over there. They will try their best to accommodate your needs & they stay in constant communication with you... can't speak highly enough of my experience with this place."
"Kim was great to work with - and we love our kitchen granite. Installers were professional and cleaned up very nicely following installation. We are putting in a bar and will work with them again - I highly recommend them!"
"Lake Norman Granite and Cabinets did a great job on my kitchen remodel. They were very reasonable and finished the job quickly. I would definitely recommend them."
"Lake Norman Granite and Cabinets is the best. I love the staff and the fact they are quick and efficient. As a local realtor I come across homes that are in need of an uplift or updating. I always refer Lake Norman Granite and Cabinets to my clients and have had nothing but positive experiences and happy clients. I highly recommend them for all your granite and cabinet needs."
"The builder that we used for our new home used this company to source both Granite and Cabinets for our home. After they had a fight and no longer speak, we are left with a completely sub-par installation and the quality of what was done reflects the level of detail and attention out project receive from them. A few weeks back my wife did reach out to Kim for "touch-up" kits which we were told when we picked everything out at their showroom would come with the cabinets... We'd yet to see them. After my wife spoke with Kim, we received those kits yesterday. So thanks to Kim for coming through with those. We have damaged drawer/cabinet faces from shipping or installation. They refuse to replace. Pictures date stamped for timeline were also taken. We have trim that wasn't even attaches to floor. They refuse to complete. Pictures of this also. We have shoe trim that is the wrong color. You guessed it. "Talk to your builder" is what I'm told. Well he doesn't take responsibility for his actions either, so what is the homeowner to do? I've got multiple cabinets with holes drilled all through them because of a number of "installation" mistakes. Gouges in paint/finish. Damaged doors. Soft close drawers that are no close because the install was so bad. Missing handles. Missing bumpers. Damaged hinges. The list goes on.... We had specs and drawings that the cabinets were to be installed by, those were not followed. Now all the issues are our problem. I would be more than happy to provide pictures of both the botched granite and cabinet installation. Obviously finding someone who takes pride in their work and will stand behind it whether or not they still communicate with who hired them is difficult. This company is not that company. Considering the quality of homes in this area and the vast number of choices you have for granite and cabinets, my suggestion would be stay clear. After months of trying to get our builder to rectify these unresolved issues, I stopped at the office today. Once we began discussing the home, Scott immediately told me he had somewhere to be. He wasn't doing anything more with that house. He would not work on anything that was wrong from the original install. If I had issues I needed to speak with my builder. Who installed the cabinets Scott? Not Mike Palmer Homes.... Your name is on that job and to not stand behind something you have already been paid for is piss poor customer service and I hope plenty of people read this and go elsewhere for their granite and cabinet needs. We are looking to get a few drawer faces replaced and a couple pieces of shoe and toekick taken care of... You will be paying full price and nothing is covered is what Scott tells me.... Really??? So you jack up the install, have a fight with Mike Palmer Homes, and just walk away. Real class act... To anyone who's considering using this company, please reach out to me and I'll be more than happy to provide you with a timeline, pictures, emails and everything... Do not spend your money here."
