"I am only reviewing the tubing experience, which I did not enjoy at all. I was scared most of the time. None of the man's (who owns the place) directions he gave before going out on the tube made any sense once out on the river (e.g., where to stay left, where there would be rapids; he showed a map and was pointing upside down on it and giving backwards directions). Just before being sent out on the water, the man gave instructions in case our tubes flipped over: do not stand up and get your foot stuck in a rock, which he described as an "unrecoverable mistake" and this absolutely terrified me. There were some very intense rapids, which I have never experienced while tubing anywhere and was not warned of. This may be partially my fault for not asking more details about the intensity of the trip before going. I've never even gotten wet on any other tubing trip, and I was repeatedly completely soaked on this one (again, okay if this is what you are wanting or expecting). After the first or second extremely intense rapid with waves over my head, I spent the whole time in a state of panic, scared of upcoming rapids. The tube bottoms were mesh, which I didn't like but understood once I was out on the water, since the waves and rapids filled the tube with water. The tubes had no back and were extremely uncomfortable; my neck was straining and started hurting immediately and kept hurting the entire trip. We were given a large kayaking paddle for steering--it was cumbersome, heavy, and tiring. At other places, they give you a much smaller and manageable paddle. The endpoint where you are supposed to get out was very hard to see, and I very nearly missed it (I had to get help getting back upriver). I was told the trip would last 2 hours and it was (thankfully for me, although maybe problematic for others) closer to 1.5. It was way too expensive especially for such a short trip. For me, this was a complete disaster. This is just not what I was expecting after tubing experiences at several other places. Never again."

"Went tubing using this company, the owners were wonderful, super nice and have us good instructions including what obstacles there are in the river to avoid (fallen trees, bridges) and the take out point. They do require life jackets be warn (they provide) and you must wear shoes, they do sell inexpensive water shoes that aren't bad quality. Overall a very good experience. I only wish the river had more rapids but that's not something they can control!"
