"Still an important part of Rock Hill’s offering of athletic facilities, although it’s starting to show its age a bit. The YMCA staff is always extremely nice, and the place gets super busy for every swim meet held there."
"DON’T GO IF CAROLINE IS THERE!!! Everyone here’s so nice except Caroline. She will LIE straight to your face she screamed ant me and got mad at a couple of people that we know. When you come in she always gives you a bad look. She always has her panties in a wad and is rude."
"Great facility and the employees are always friendly. The pools themselves are clean and well-maintained."
"We like this facility but we can never stay very long because the chlorine smell is overwhelming, it doesn't seem like there's ventilation in here at all. About 45 minutes in and our eyes and noses are burning."
"Great swim facility for a swim meet. Plenty of lanes and space for teams as well as for spectators. Support spaces (bathrooms, lockers, and circulation) were sufficient as well. Parking for large events did require surrounding areas and school to accommodate the cars. My lower rank is solely based on the temperature of the facility. The pool deck and spectator stands are very hot during the time we were there. We were forewarned but for a meet that lasts 3 hours, it was uncomfortable. The limited number of area fans did not sufficiently cool the space. The humidity coupled with 90+ degrees made watching the meet miserable. When swimmers getting out of a pool are sweating on the pool deck between events, you know it's hot. I think the facility should consider an upgrade to their HVAC and large ceiling fans to move air for everyone."
