"The park itself is nice, but beware of thieves lurking around. A bad character stole my purse."
"I grew up swimming here!! SHOOTTTT!!! I learned to swim here. I wouldn't change nothing but allow neighborhood children swim yearly like the other children. And bigger and better splash pad like the one in Pinehurst. Also get wristbands for early swimming to bring back free or $0.50 swimming. Have reasonable vendors to provide drinks/snacks during swim breaks. Building another pool park won't hard either! And last but never least; make a five to ten yrs file to keep record of 9ft test so "WE" who can swim can swim whenever. Other than that...everything is good."
"We like to attend during the free hour they offer daily. The pool itself could stand to be resurfaced. We always have fun however."
"Nice playground but very little shade during the day. The “splash pad” is very minimal and is basically more of a fountain. I think Southern Pines misses the mark with this one. If your looking for more of a splash pad, head to Pinehurst."
