"This is such a beautiful place with an amazing crew! My husband had a conference, so our 4 year old and I went with him to get away. I only have 2 complaints: 1) They need to do a better job at dusting. It felt clean, but you could see dust along the dresser and the bathroom cabinet, and 2) They need a playground. They had the perfect spot for a playground near the pool, which would make this the perfect getaway for a family. Again, this is a great place to stay!"
"What a great location to actively or quietly get away! Recently hosted overnight events for 30 and 100+ people. Room accommodations (fireplaces in some), conference space and food options were all above expectations and very reasonably priced. There is a buffet option that can accommodate 150+ people total or can be split up with a private room for about 40-50 of that total.Food options were accommodating for all diet types. Plenty to do with tennis courts, golf, axe throwing, murder mystery games, or just stop by the lobby bar with fireside seating. There is also a lower level bar/restaurant with pool tables and a jukebox able to accommodate 50+ people. Gym, indoor/outdoor pool, hiking trails, massive golf pro shop onsite with other gift options all found at this environmentally friendly resort."
"We had the best experience horseback riding at the stables this past weekend. Johnny led our trail ride. He was so friendly and so knowledgeable!! He even let me borrow his gloves since it was 39° out! We spotted some deer on our ride and Johnny stopped so we could enjoy the deer for a little bit. If you've never gone horseback riding at Brasstown Valley Resort, you must go!! It was so much fun and everyone was so nice!!! Highly recommended!!!"
"My husband and I stayed for an overnight getaway. The staff working this weekend were so caring, polite, and went out of their way to be helpful. The service was to be commended! The bartender Michael was knowledgeable and made a perfect martini. The pub food was good . I recommend the veggie option for the quesadilla it was very good. Jennifer was very helpful with finding a good room for us. Troy made a wonderful omelette for my husband. The rooms need improved housekeeping."
"We only visited for lunch. Wanted to eat at the grill but it didn't open until 2pm..... The restaurant was open but only served a buffet....decided to stay as friends had driven over an hour to meet us and were hungry. Food was mediocre....only potatoes and carrots as veggies....salad bar was 'the usual' nothing exciting, but nice and fresh. The fish was dry but not surprising as it was a buffet; the beef looked edible and there was also gnocchi...that was it...The desserts consisted of highly processed factory made cheesecake and some kind of chocolate pie. There was bread pudding which looked like it was homemade, but nothing like any bread pudding I have ever seen...it was swimming in either syrup or butter...skipped desserts. The staff were very friendly, the building was rustic and comfortable with wooden beams and a log fire roaring. Would not go back for the buffet. Hoping that the busier summer season might improve the food quality and selection."
