Reviews of Rocky Knob Visitor Center
"went in today (oct 13, 2023) and the nice volunteer said this visitor center was closed for nearly 3 years, but reopened this summer. their hours are 9am-5pm Friday-Monday until the end of October. very small, but they have clean bathrooms (women’s is accessible from the outside, but men’s is only accessible from the inside, i think the next closest would be in the picnic area). potable water spigot outside. and two passport stamps/some merch inside. :)"
"It’s got a lovely picnic area and scenic viewing area, but calling this a Visitor Center isn’t particularly accurate. The building itself isn’t staffed (at least in mid-May) and the restrooms and the building are locked up. The “information” available is a map on a sign. Bummer, since we drove and extra 20 minutes to get here, since the NPS website states that this “Visitor Center” has 2 National Park Passport stamps available. Sigh."
"Nice camping and hicking trails. We visited here in Oct 23, 2022. It was the peak color change in the area."
"I have my camping there. The ranger and camping host are so nice. The scenes there and hiking trails are beautiful"
"Very friendly and helpful. We walked the Black Ridge Trail. Moderate hike with beautiful views"
