Mystical Creek Pool Lodge 600

"We rented this cabin way back when covid first hit. Somehow the review I wrote back then disappeared. So I thought I would write another. When we rented this cabin the hot tub didn't work. The heated indoor pool was not even warm. The theater room didn't work. And the worst of it were the bats living in the attic, especially above the bedroom where my grandbabies were suppose to sleep. The smell of the urine and feces left from the bats was horrible. Aunt bugs sent a repair person, but this guy didn't fix anything. I take that back, he did get the hot tub to work one time. I voiced my complaints to aunt bugs, especially about the bats with no response. We used to exclusively stay with aunt bugs. But we will never rent from them again. We are pretty easy going and do not complain. Especially over small things. But this cabin was a splurge and was fairly more expensive. The problems with this cabin was ridiculous."

"The house was beautiful but not the cleanest. Hot tub didn't have working buttons so it was just a hot pool. The pool was kind of slimey on the wall inside. Bedrooms had dead ladybugs and gnats by windows on the floor and in the whirlpool tubs. The day we got there there gnats flying around everywhere. Place did not look like it had been cleaned. Pull out beds were nasty. The showers were very creaky like u were going to fall through the floor. The faucet in the shower was barely connected it moved all around. The only good thing was the view of the mountains from the porch. Don't waste your money here. There are far better cabin rental places to go through."

"I emailed Aunt Bugs Rentals the first day we were there with my concerns. We rent several large places throughout the year and we have not had an experience like this. It was not cleaned well. The floors weren’t vacuumed on the carpeted room, dead bugs in all the window sills, cobwebs and dirt through the cabin. I never heard a response from Aunt Bugs to the email. Our pool was not working the entire week we were there. We contacted the owner and was supposed to have it working by Thursday. The owner did respond and sent someone to look at the pool (but did not fix) and to fix the hot tub as well. The hot tub was only out for a day. We rented the cabin and paid the premium price during the holiday. The place is in a beautiful location and has potential for being great."

"Great place to stay with the family. Plenty of room and bathrooms. Location is a little far from all the things to see. Everything was clean and working. Movie theatre was a blast. View from the balcony is humbling. Only downside was the pool was not heated, but I prefer to swim in the creek anyways."
