"Unacceptable customer consideration!!! I have used Merle Norman for 30 plus years. My husband and family give me MN items for gifts. I called the Hanes Mall store and asked if I could exchange an un opened total finish for a shade darker(I did not have a receipt) . She assured me I could do that … just bring unopened compact to the store for exchange ……I took it yesterday and she checked her computer which indicated I had not purchased a total finish in over a year ……. OF COURSE NOT….. it was a gift !!!! she “called her manager” and they refused to make the exchange …. I had made a 42 Mile round trip to exchange this product !!!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!!!"

"Have been to the store in person several times over the years. Placed last 3 orders over the phone and paid to have the items shipped. Made an order over the phone, employee found my account and verified my address, charged my card and never shipped the item. I called a week later. They had no record of my order and asked me to see if I was charged. I was out of town and when I returned I saw I had indeed been charged that day. I called back for the 3rd time and Michelle told me it wasn't in her system so I would have to come in person to prove I paid! Then as I was explaining that the point of the phone order was to avoid an hour round trip, she simply hung up on me. I will now be reporting the charge as fraud. And never shop there again."
