Welcome to Apex Tattoo Factory, located at 500 East Williams Street in Apex, North Carolina, United States. Our mission is to provide you with high quality CUSTOM DESIGNED tattoos using top quality ETERNAL and DYNAMIC INK in a clean, stylish, and sterile shop. With a combined experience of 40 years, our team is dedicated to giving you the respect and consideration you deserve when choosing where to get your permanent art piece.
At ATF, we are one of the few places on the east coast certified by Dangerous Things to install microchips. Please note that according to state law, you must be 18 years of age to get a tattoo in North Carolina. We do not have stencil artists or scratchers here, and children under the age of 13 are prohibited from entering without a piercing appointment.
Our shop manager Warren is here to help you with any questions or needs when you call. All our artists are state certified through NCDENR, Red Cross Certified in Blood Borne Pathogens, CPR, and First Aid for healthcare workers. Your tattoo will be done in a clean room while you enjoy music, TV, and great conversation.
For piercings, participants must have a form of ID. If you are under age, you can still get a piercing with a valid form of ID from your parent or guardian. We also offer a wide range of fashion body jewelry, and changing is free with purchase. Appointments require a 20% deposit in person or via email invoice to reserve a specific date and time.

"Apex Tattoo Factory is a decent place for piercings. In January, I decided to go here for my long awaited second lobes. I was ecstatic, and pleased by the short wait as a walk-in. Everything was fine until we got to the marking. It took the piercer a while to figure out the placement of the piercing points, and even after multiple rounds of moving them AND with my suggestions, they was still a little off. At the time, I didn’t quite realize the imbalance, but now, considering getting third lobes, the crooked positioning of these piercings are quite noticeable and interfere with other piercings. However, I would like to mention that their aftercare instructions were easy to follow and very clear. After reading other reviews, I’ve found that many others have had upsetting experiences with lopsided or crooked piercings."
