"This was my first tattoo and the experience from inquiry to booking to the actual appointment was top notch. I reached out and Leif’s wife Mo got in contact with me. She was so nice and so helpful throughout the entire process all the way to the last minute questions before the appointment. She really put me at ease with her fast responses and friendliness. Leif and I talked on video about my ideas and I got put on the books. The studio is clean and quiet and I really appreciated that aspect. I gave Leif some picture ideas and after that just let him do his thing. It’s really like watching magic to be honest. The fact that he can draw this right on the skin and bring it to life amazes me. He was so chill and so cool.I spent the whole day with him basically as it was a pretty big piece. Nothing felt rushed or forced about the appointment and his artwork is amazing. I literally get a huge smile on my face everytime I look at it. I’ll be seeing him a couple of more times to finish the piece and I am already counting down the days! 5 stars all around for both Leif and Mo. I'll update the review with pictures."

"Leif is an amazing artist and a great dude. We got my sleeve started and it was a great experience. If you let the man have free reign over the design you will not be disappointed! Drew the design on the spot and it looks amazing. Still have a long way to go but I couldn't be happier thus far. It might just be me but a couple days into healing I can't even feel it. No soreness whatsoever. True professional. I'd recommend Dragonhide to anyone, but be prepared to book well in advance. It's worth the wait!"

"I could write an essay about my experience with Leif and Mo, but for the sake of time, I won't. Leif is a natural artist with incredible instincts. I came to him with some source material and some idea's I couldn't quite flesh out. He took that information and came up with a design that was better than what I was expecting. He then proceeded to put the ink to skin, and for a second time, exceeded my expectations. The final tattoo he left me with was way cooler and more detailed than I had ever expected. Aside from the tattooing process itself, Leif is an awesome dude. He's personable, funny, and most importantly in any service industry, accommodating. Never once in the process did I feel uncomfortable. Mo, who helped facilitate the appointment, was also a joy to work with. Between the two of them, the entire process ran smoothly and timely, and I am grateful to have worked with them. I've had a range of experiences from bad to good. After coming to Dragonhide (which is a studio, not a shop), I can now say I've had a great tattoo experience. I will most certainly be returning for more work!"

"I'm in my mid 60s and decided this year to get my first tatoo. Did my homework on what to expect and maybe just as important, what not to expect. And after meeting Leif for a consult, I was very comfortable in choosing him. In my world, I really respect folks that are genuinely decent human beings, are super competent and who are reliable. Leif very much exceeded that criteria and very much exceeded my expectations for this first ink. His artistic instincts and capabilities are self-evident. What I really appreciated was that he took the time to genuinely understand the meaning for me of the image that I wanted to marry up to. That gave this experience much more than an 'execution transaction' feel. As a matter of fact, it was quite the opposite. In addition, the dude is funny, smart and loves music - a place we connected easily despite some core differences on genres we hold sacred. And because the image has deep musical resonance for me, that musical connection was all the more comforting. This may not be important for others, but for me, sitting with someone for 5 hours who is about to permanently etch an image on my body - it was important. A quick word on his shop and his professionalism. Everything was very organized and ultra clean. And he was great in walking me through all the steps before we began. Mo, his assistant is a gem. She is very responsive and has been there for some of my post care questions. Net-net, I love my tatoo. And I will be returning to Leif to not only put the finishing touches on it but to get another one too.
