Inkognito tattoo

"I had high hopes for this studio but unfortunately one of their newer artists, Marina, left me beyond disappointed. When I walked in, she handed me a drawing she had made of my tattoo. I was confused because it didn’t look like the reference pics i gave her. We needed to make quite a few adjustments to her design to make it what I had originally asked for (which she was being oddly stubborn about), so she had to confess to me that although I had an appointment I paid an $105 deposit for, she had only set aside 1.5 hr before her next client’s appointment, which would never have been enough time for the tattoo I had sent her pictures of. she told me she is keeping the deposit I had paid for, i would have to pay ANOTHER deposit to reschedule our time (although this was a result of her own poor planning), and she wanted me to pay a charge for adjusting her shoddy design that I had never agreed to. That’s when I walked out. I can’t speak for the other artists working there, but i feel totally scammed and disrespected by Marina."

"I absolutely love my tattoo done by Lillian. She fixed my stars that I originally wanted covered but she made look better and did my horoscope constellation and dogs name that passed away earlier this month. I highly recommend her. Will be back for more tattoos."

"Met with Lillian for my second piece by her last month. Two years after my first visit, she remembered me and took just as much time to go over my idea with me as she did with the first. After a great consultation, where she went over pros/cons of the placement and how the tattoo would age, we agreed on some small changes and I got booked for last weekend. We had some great communication about the piece in the week leading up to the appointment, and I was thrilled with the sketch. Day of, she was welcoming and accommodating. There was some good conversation while she worked, and she finished up quicker than expected and under the estimated price. The piece turned out great, and I could not be happier! I'll definitely be coming back for a round 3/4/5 to finish up a sleeve. (Photo is still healing, will update with a healed shot when it's done)"

"This is a wonderful tattoo shop tucked away in Hillsborough. It is a new place, but run by an experienced artist. Lillian did my expansion/partial cover up and it turned out extremely well. She was easy to communicate with and understood the vision I had. The shop is heavy on the anime and nerd culture as you would expect, but I love it. It's a welcome change, especially for people who want tattoos but don't want to go to a typical shop with biker dudes and flaming skulls everywhere. High chance I'll return for subsequent tattoos here (you get a frequent flyer card, where you get discounts on subsequent tattoos!). The stickers and magnets are super cute too."
