I feel way too many folks don't understand that when you contract with an attorney the first thing you need to learn is patience and have lots of it. Give them time to work all the cases and not just yours. Attorneys can have hundreds of cases going on at any one time and if they had to update at every moment a client called, they'd never be in court to represent you. So again, learn patience. In Teresa's letter to me, she stated to be patient and I was. Having grown up in a law enforcement family, I know first-hand the caseload and aggravations that attorneys go through. They have some of the longest days, getting to work at 6 a.m. or 7 a.m. to prepare the day's agenda, running back and forth through a courthouse and back and forth to the office. It's a quagmire and I wouldn't want their job, regardless of what they make. Also, just because you call and leave a message at 3 p.m. and they don't return your call, that day or even the next, LEARN PATIENCE. Remember, no news is not a bad thing. Think of it this way, you NEED them to be on your side working for you, endless calls and emails just further ties them up, so again, patience. I would highly reccommend her, I think over about 3 months I called her only once, just to give her some more info. and guess what? I was fortunate enough that she got my case dismissed. Give her and any attorney the time needed to thorougly represent you, they're loaded with cases, so if you don't have patience then represent yourself."
