Sunrise Ridge Resort

"Location was the plus. Really the only plus. The “resort” it’s self was outdated and dirty. Lots of upgrades are needed as well as simple general maintenance. Power washing, fresh Paint and a lawn care service would improve things greatly. They advertise a playground and that’s not there. The pool area was dirty and dated and smelled of dirty water and urine. The balcony was unusable because the smell of cigarettes was so strong and the air was thick with the stench from the landfill minutes down the road. It’s a shame as the view was amazing and the location good. Major updates needed to the rooms and property."

"Resort sat high up on a mountain providing a wonderful sunrise. Room was complete with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, dishwasher, In door and outdoor pool. Cook wear provided. Located less than 2 miles from Margarita Island, dinner shows and restaurants."

"Great location and clean. Felt homey and cabin like but dated. Not much staff on hand for accommodation but quite and secluded with that and awesome views. Middle of remodeling. New rooms are definitely sleek and modern but lose the rather cabinish charm the dated ones had."

"The room was a little outdated, but that's okay it kind of gave it a homey feel to the room. We really enjoyed our time here not only was the front desk folks very nice and kind they were also very knowledgeable. The View was amazing on the balcony. Also its not on a main road so you can sit out on the balcony enjoying the scenery in quiet, forgetting you are in a very touristy area. We will defiantly come back when we are in the area again, as well as tell everyone we know to stay here."

"What a beautiful place. It was a perfect location for our Dollywood trip with my mom and sister. I'd definitely consider coming back with my own family. Everything was comfortable and spacious. The rooms were perfect and led right into their own bathroom. The back patio is spacious and a nice place to sit and enjoy the fresh air while having breakfast, or even just reading. It was perfect for what we needed. If we were staying longer we would have tried out the pool and maybe the workout room but it was a quick trip."
