"By far the most atmospherically pleasing brewery I've ever visited. The owner and staff are warm and welcoming, the beverages are delicious. Abundant use of natural wood and huge tropical plants in the open, airy space make me want to never leave. Lots of outdoor space too. Love this place!"
"What a vibe and experience - The candles, wood, and plants on a cold January night were incredible. Got a mliko pour of the IPA (which was new to me) and it was a nice little treat!"
"Eclectic brewery. It’s at the end of a dead end and the only sign I saw was a little one on an open gate that leads to the brewery. Once inside there are plants everywhere. Old engines making up part of the bar. Couldn’t see the entire brew setup but can see its as eclectic as the rest of the building. Only had 1 beer but it was good. Worth a trip."
"This is what I call the speakeasy of breweries. Hidden behind an ivy covered fence is one of the most beautiful breweries I've visited. From the carved tables to the interior itself, incredible! The pictures you see are taken in the evening when there is just low ambient lighting. The beers are also unique. I've included a picture of the menu. This is always a stop for me when I visit Asheville!"
"I almost don't want to post about this place because I love that it seems to be a hidden gem, but I guess I'll share.... The atmosphere at this brewery, tucked at the end of the road, just off of the Swannanoa River, is like something from a storybook. The ivy covered gate stands partially open, and the sign is barely noticeable. Once you enter the courtyard, you notice the beautiful lawn and massive oak tree and the pleasantly spaced picnic tables around the patio. The warehouse is beautifully repurposed, with large wooden tables and a bar that spans the entire left wall. They are using the old engine lift from the machine shop that was already in the space to support the end of the carved piece of wood that holds all the taps. The beers and seltzers that they make in house are creative, and not the typical findings that you see at most breweries in Asheville. Go with an open mind, try something new! The Psaurum steam beer is great, there is an IPA for all you IPA die hards, and I loved the selection of orange wine and the slushie offering, made with their lemon seltzr and some other juices. An amazing place to relax in the afternoon, on a blanket under the trees, or at a table under an umbrella!"
