The Home Depot

"I must admit that this location of The Home Depot has always impressed me. Many of the employees that I have dealt with here have been friendly. There is this one guy in paint by the name of Tim who is always friendly and helpful when I need to have some paint mixed. He goes above and beyond in friendliness and servitude. There is this worker by the name of Dan who is another really friendly individual who has a whole lot of character and personality. Mark is another really friendly employee who works there. There is this extremely friendly manager whom I have dealt with by the name of Manzor(sp?). There is this wonderful either Hispanic or Latina cashier that works the register by the lumber department who is more than a delight to work with, as well. I am going to be 100% honest in what I am about to say in this review. According to my experience, if a customer goes into the Home Depot on West Wendover Ave. and has the pleasure of working with any of these individuals, then they will be treated more like a family member than they will like a customer."

"There is an old man, he said to me I'm going for lunch I will be unloading after 45 mins . And after 2 hours another guy came and asked when you been here. I told him the time. He said old man lying to you . He doesn't want to perform your duties. It's for truckers when you come here if the worker says you like some like that then have to speak with the manager ."

"Filled up our cart and then the alarms went off and they kicked everyone out. The fire trucks came, which my daughter loved. Overall exciting for a Sunday."

"It can be a bit hard to find an employee to help while you're shopping. Although, when you do find someone, they're usually pretty kind and try their best to help you however you can. Unfortunately, that kind & helpful demeanor doesn't translate to every employee. I made a trip to this location today and noticed at the self-checkout area, there's an older woman who didn't treat every customer the same way. While I was checking out, I saw a few black women trying to get this woman's attention but she took a while to come over to them. Seemed a bit preserved and cold. It was the subtlety of these interactions I observed but could be hard to miss if you weren't paying attention. I also noticed she was pretty keen to watch this group of women and a few other shoppers closely and quietly. No greetings nor smiles for them. It was uncomfortable to witness, especially as she was just talkative, laughing and seemed very willing to help a man and his son (who were not people of color, to be frank). In this day and age, there's no excuse to treat anyone less than or subtly cold due to how they look. If you want to do that, you definitely should not be working in customer service."

"This has to be the best Home Depot I have EVER been to. The entire store was clean, uncluttered isles and full of friendly staff. The selection of merchandise is huge! This is the first hardware store I have ever been to that actually has the hardware section organized. There weren’t open boxes with random nuts and bolts everywhere. The best Home Depot EVER!!!"
