"This is a “newer to me” way to rent places on BHI. It seems more difficult to be in contact with the renters when it isn’t just a family renting their place out. It was still a good experience and via messaging we were able to tack on an extra weekend."
"We rented a Condo, condo was fine. The cable was out(we did not know or request to fix it), I walked out of the shower with 2 people in my room. The maintenance guy said didn't she call you? We didn't receive a call back about this incident even after this happened, the maintenance guy apologized but its pretty spooky to have someone come into your place. You did not do your best on our rental!"
"Renters beware, reviews do not tell the full story. We rented a home in August 2021 through Bald Head Island Services. The home was infested with cockroaches. I woke up with one crawling across my face. While I understand that bugs are common, I've never stayed in a rental that had this kind of infestation and certainly would not have picked the property had I know. I wrote completely true, negative review of the property which was never posted. I have followed up several times about the review, but it remains unposted. The company appears to select only positive reviews for its properties. Renter beware."
"I love renting from BHI Services!! They do a great job cleaning!! I rented Southern Brew the end of June and the house didnt have a toaster they sent a new toaster in less than an hour!! We are also renting Balvedine Labor day week. Love this home. We have rented from BHI Services for 3 years and I am happy with their services."
