"First, working with Proactive was easy. They were responsive with our service calls, but the service calls weren't even emergencies; they were for worn out items that should've been fixed before the season began. My issue lies with Proactive not posting unfavorable reviews of their homes. After our vacation in a very tired home (Buck Stops Here), I left a fair but not positive review. It was never posted. Further, there was only ONE review posted for this house during this year and now they have taken the DATES of the reviews off the site. Our rental was not clean and was the worst stocked home we've ever rented (the kitchen was an appliance graveyard and there were barely enough plates to serve our family of 7; don't get me started on the silverware or the nastiest cutting board I've EVER seen). The furniture was worn out and uncomfortable (slip covers that had seen MUCH better days and beds past their prime). Shame on Proactive for not being honest and upfront and holding the owners of the homes accountable for their lack of hospitality."

"Be careful when renting .. they remove all their poor ratings.. and they blame customers if they leave a poor review! I just wrote one of their replies to a customer and they blamed the customer for their issue. They remove the customers poor review from last year. And they were mad at the customer for writing a poor review a year later. That’s what happens when you don’t make things right with customers. People pay a lot of money to stay in beach houses for a week. If you want to blame the customer. I wouldn’t do it online in a reply .. looks bad on you. Plenty of others to rent from on that beach."

"Can't say enough about Deana Gore's rock solid ability to stay on it at any given time of day, any time of the week. Doing a land home package for my first time ever making a home purchase was simply not the easiest way to do it -- with Deana by my side the difficult became far more feasible to achieve.
