"Was a nice place. not huge, you can get through it in about 2hr. i only give it 4 stars because it does make you sad because most of the animals are just pacing back and forth. we went for the Halloween day and didn't see any keepers actually interacting as some of the other posts. not over priced either we had a good time. need maybe a second bathroom. only 1 with 2 stalls."
"I love taking my grandchildren here for "Boo at the Zoo". They love seeing all the animals and the employees dressed up for Halloween. The apple cider and hot chocolate in the Fall hit the spot every time. The zoo is just the right size for smaller children who don't have the interest in an all day affair but large enough that adults enjoy it and feel they got their money's worth ($15). My son got the firefighter discount so it was less for him. Last year, there were employees at every spot to pass out candy. This year, they were few and far in between when we went. Hopefully next year, it'll be well staffed again. BTW, my granddaughter won best baby costume. She was Little Red Ridinghood."
"I was very pleasantly surprised by Tiger World. It is clean and in good repair, and employees are friendly and knowledgeable about all the animals. I was happy with how interactive the animals are with the keepers, and how much obvious affection they show. The animals are trained to allow veterinary care without sedation or restraints, using positive reinforcement. They appear very healthy and well-fed but not obese, and they are in enclosures with a lot of room, climbing areas, and other toys & play items. The keepers do respect the animals who do not want to interact as much or as closely, and they have a lot of hidey-holes where they can sleep and get away from noise and attention. My Mom & I had a great time, and we will definitely be back!!"
"We've now been here a couple of times and my boys have enjoyed it! They love seeing the animals and the playground. This place has great staff and you can tell they care a lot about what they do. On our tour the lady had a lot of information on each animal and how they came to the park. Most are rescued from bad situations and are now well cared for."
