"This review is for the Afton Ridge location of HomeSense, specifically one employee there. Yesterday was my second time visiting this store. I popped in for the first time around Christmas to see what the hype was about. However, this time I actually went in to shop. After taking my time and browsing around the store, I found a vase I liked but wanted to see it on a table - you know the same kind of surface one might have at home. There had been two men working around the store during my time browsing. I assumed they might be visual merchandisers as that appeared to be the type of tasks they were completing. As I walked towards a wooden table, one of the men abruptly stops what’s he’s doing and says, “DON’T PUT THAT VASE ON THERE” I was caught so off guard that I’m sure the look on my face was pure bewilderment. He then points to a rolling stock cart and says, “You can look at it on there.” Umm.. the last time I checked this wasn’t Restoration Hardware. Needless to say, I sat the vase and the rest of the items I was planning to buy down on that cart, walked out the store, and headed on down the road to the less bougie sister - HomeGoods - where they don’t hire furniture police,"

"This was my first time here, and I really liked it. Nice layout of the store. Everything looked very nice, clean, and organized. I expected everything to be expensive, but I wanted to look around and explore anyways. I was pleasantly surprised that the first thing I picked up was actually a reasonable price! Some things were out of my price range, but a lot was decently priced. I ended up finding a few things and didn't break the bank. Very happy with my purchases."
