"Played the back tees bc of yardage. I would not recommend to anyone who is not a single digit handicap. One of the hardest courses I've ever played. Beautiful views, course conditions where perfect, greens where excellent. The sand was tight and wet but it had rained over night. Definitely would recommend for those wanting to challenge themselves on a golf course."

"There are parts of the experience here that are great, parts that are ok and a couple of "meh"s. The staff was great. The vista are gorgeous. Several holes are adjacent to marshland. Lots of beautiful water feature. Tons of old trees. The fairways and rough, as far as I could tell, are Bermuda grass. This means that for us, today (mid October), everything was beautifully green. I didn't lose any balls in the rough (thankfully), but hitting out of it when the ball is partially submerged is challenging. The greens were good - smooth and mostly true. There was some variation in the speed - a could of holes were surprisingly slow, and a couple were surprisingly fast. The sand traps were in great shape, except for one, which had a lot of erosion. I'm ok with that - it's low season. The price was very good. I paid $43 on a Sunday at 2pm, cart included. (I'm pretty sure they don't allow walkers - at least one bridge said you can't walk on it.) Now, here come the gripes. The cart paths were pretty terrible. Lots of pot holes; lots of root invasions; several places where there was standing water (and tracks going around these spots). Several holes had sand for the rough - it seemed like the just couldn't get the grass to take. Several tee boxes were beaten up. Overall, I enjoyed the course and the round I played. If you are in the area, it is not a bad choice (and there are dozens of courses here)."

"Visited here during an annual golf trip. Staff was friendly and welcoming. A course that requires good placement of shots and the greens were in pretty good shape. The layout offers nice views, but be careful about the local wildlife, as the attached photo will attest! A good perk with the greens fee is included breakfast, lunch, and two drinks. A very nice bonus! We plan to play here again on our next trip."

"Great golf experience. It rained the morning we played so many groups opted for a rain check. Cart paths could use an update but the course is phenomenal. We played and felt like we had the whole course to ourselves to enjoy. Superb views the entire 18 but the back 9 is when the wildlife of the area (gators) began to really show….and then we got to 17 and there was a gator just chilling on the green. So much fun, will definitely be back when in the area."

"Great layout with tons of picturesque views with all the marshes. Traps were a little rough after the rain. The greens look like they would be slow but played pretty fast and true. Overall awesome course and we saw some alligators which definitely made it a fun experience"
