"I have been waiting for over a year for three replacement counter stools. The finish on the first set was terrible. They sent me three others about nine months later which were also terrible. A couple months later they came back to me with the same three I rejected only for me to reject them again. I asked that they bring me several that they have in the warehouse and let me choose the best three and be done with it. It’s been over a month and I have heard nothing on this. And that is after speaking with the “Vice President” of the division. The original order I placed was for a dining table with 6 chairs, three counter stools and a side hutch. The side hutch arrived a couple of months after the rest of the order. When I contacted them about the scratches on the piece I was told it would be repaired. It took 4 months before their person finally got out to fix it. He did a great job but it never should have taken that long. Considering the reputation this name used to represent I have been deeply disappointed in the overall service and quality of the products I have received. I really would not pay the price for them ever again. You aren’t getting anything better than you can find elsewhere at a lower cost."

"After moving from New Hampshire to Myrtle Beach SC we wanted to add a few home furnishing to our new home. We decided to visit the Ethan Allen showroom here in Myrtle beach. We were greeted by Dawn Mascorro . She asked us which rooms we were interested in furnishing and continued to show us items based on our home colors and style of furniture we had in mind. She exhibited total interest in our search and absolutely no pressure at all which made the visit much more relaxing. After a few hours viewing items Dawn had shown us based on our taste and style we settled on the pieces pictured in this post. Since Ethan Allen manufactures everything to order we waited for the items to arrive. Our furniture was all custom made to our specifications. From the time of order to delivery Dawn continued to email and speak with us regarding updates which was helpful. We were offered the option of waiting for everything to arrive at the warehouse and take one delivery or have each item delivered as they arrived at the warehouse. We opted to have each item delivered as it arrived at their warehouse. Dawn made it a point to be at our home for each delivery when the truck arrived to help us inspect the items and assure that we were pleased. We always felt that should you decide to introduce items to your home that you will enjoy on a daily basis that retailer selection as well as items you choose are very important. We could not be happier with Ethan Allens quality of workmanship, fit and finish and user friendly furniture. Sometimes furniture purchasing could be as daunting as purchasing a home or auto but Dawn made our experience a complete pleasure.
