"We finished in court in August and we're told we would receive a copy of the birth certificate in December and we have yet to get it I called vital records just to be told that all the papers were not sent I contacted king law about it and they had to call around and find out what was going on and then they informed me that a form was missing that the clerk had to send in and I would have to send 45$ with the form for the birth certificate to be filled and for a copy then they proceeded to charge me for calling them about their mistake that I had to find out about through vital records I gave them my copy of the current birth certificate that I had to order through the mail for 30$ and yet they are having an issue with who is going to pay for that this has been well over a year since the process started they seemed to be the best a cheapest option but in the end they charged just as much as the other lawyers I called and talked to. I hired a lawyer bc obviously I am not one and needed a professional to handle this but honestly I feel like I could have done this and had it done faster and without mistake and cheaper had I just done it my damn self and not to mention that we didn't have one set lawyer our first lawyer stopped doing family court cases and the lawyer who took his place left the firm half way through our process and I never met or spoke to the lawyer that finished the case would not recommend them just spend the money and go somewhere else cause they charge just as much as everyone else."

"King law business model is to string a client along with useless paper shuffling, repeated continuances for no reason, have all legal paperwork done by clerks who are incapable, and drain the client retainer while accomplishing nothing. They use the flimsy excuse that it’s “cheaper” if the clerk does the work. If the clerk is uncapable it costs twice as much. They strung my simple case against a contractor out over 4 months and then looked for another continuance as they had not submitted the corrected complaint to defendant in a timely manner. I was forced to drop the case as it was going to cost me more than any judgement. I asked for refund of my retainer but they ignored that. They do not provide legal representation to client. It’s all just a sham to bill repeatedly. They cause the client anxiety about even asking about the charges as they then charge for any reply they give. The client is trapped in this charade."

"My husband and I retained this firm concerning a contested will. From day one it is always about how much they can swindle from us. Refused to correct mistakes, would not return calls , did not notify us of hearings, refused to communicate, did not contact witnesses, a complete disaster. And then…….. withdrew from the case without any notices, found out from accounting staff. Most unprofessional company have I have ever dealt with. Spent $15,000. Dollars and are in worst position then before. I"
