"Very nice little hotel. Clean and well maintained in a great location. The staff are friendly and attentive. The town is unusual in a good way. The hotel is across the street from the police station. Which as far as we could tell, was closed on a Saturday night. There are bars and restaurants on the main road down from the hotel. Everyone seemed well behaved and no excessive noise. We noticed a middle age woman sitting on a bench reading a book across the street near the park. The local woman felt perfectly safe. And from what we saw, she was and so was everyone else. The manager told us the hotel is owned by a local family as are most of the businesses. The residents have invested in their little town to keep it alive and the environment they want their children to grow up in. It’s a great place to shop for treasures, enjoy the nightlife or just spend the night while passing through."

"This beautiful Inn is located in downtown Sylva. Sylva is such a beautiful town with so many fun places to eat and see. We can walk just about anywhere we want to go, so many food ideas and they are all great. We absolutely love staying here when we just need a quiet getaway. The rooms are so clean and the service is excellent. They allowed our little dog for an extra small fee. I personally love the rocking chairs outside the rooms. I can take my book outside my room and enjoy the beautiful weather. This is definitely one of our hot spots when we need to get away for a few days."

"To visit my cousin last week who lives on a mountain. After comparing location, price and reviews I called to reserve a room. When I arrived check in was easy. My room on the first floor was very nice and clean. If you stay a while there is an iron, ironing board, hair dryer and internet available if you need for your laptop. The motel is next to a shopping area, it reminded me of Old Milford, in Milford, OH. There are many places to eat, some you will need to drive to. The police station is across the street, I felt safe about parking at night. Each time I left I always looked at the Old Jackson Court House which is amazing. Now for the staff, they are very friendly, always great to offer help and information you may need. If, I would go there again, this is the motel I would stay. A 4 star only because without all the extra items you do find in a 5 star, as a pool, sauna, exercise room, but that I did not need, is as close to a 5 star you can get."

"This is a great place to rest and recharge! The staff was kind and professional. The rooms are descent, clean, affordable and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the rocking chair porch. We will definitely stay here again!"
