"Flying Pig Hollow is the PERFECT retreat!! An easy road trip from southwest Ohio and far away but still close to the necessities. The Braukmans are the perfect hosts and have thought of pretty much everything. My favorite part was reading my book and drinking my coffee (yes, it was provided!!) while looking out the back glass doors at the majestic mountainside. Can’t wait to go back again!!!"

"This is our favorite cabin we have ever stayed in. We came to Flying Pig Hollow for our 10 year anniversary trip. From the first moment we turned up the driveway we knew we were in for an amazing weekend. The cabin had everything we could need and more, and the attention to detail was much appreciated (like the rock garden!). The coffee nook was by far our favorite thoughtful amenity inside the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need for cooking, and there was no shortage of towels or extra blankets. The master bed was hands down one of the most comfortable beds we have EVER slept in. Even though we were without kids, a good amount of time was still spent in the game room. Who can resist a good game of air hockey?? But, the real star of the cabin was the back deck. We sat there for a good part of our stay sipping our coffee and enjoying the quiet, peaceful view. It was seriously a little slice of heaven. If you can find the time to peel yourself away from Flying Pig Hollow, idyllic Downtown Sylva is just a short drive away. There's not shortage of restaurants, shops, views, and small town charm. The Lazy Hiker Brewery, The Farmhouse Mercantile and Coffee Bar, Jackson County Friends of the Library, Pie Times, and Jackson's General Store were a few of our favorite stops. If you're up for more of an adventure, there are plenty of other places within driving distance such as Dillsboro, Cherokee, Bryson City, and even Asheville. We cannot wait to come back to visit, and are so grateful for the memories we made while there."

"What an amazing getaway! The house has amazing views and every detail is so thoughtful. It literally felt like we were in our own home! We loved eating dinner on the deck and my kids were obsessed with the swing and fire pit. The beds were also really comfortable. It’s close to the charming town of Sylvia with some really yummy restaurants. We were planning our next trip back while we were there!!"
