The UPS Store

"On Saturday, I was in UPS Denver with an Amazon return. The employee did not acknowledge me even though he saw me and continued packing a box. Today I went in to discuss this with Henry the manager. Before I could even complete my sentence, he said “that’s his job mam” in a rude way. My point was that the employee did not even acknowledge me. Henry continued making excuses for the employee, saying he was young and new. No excuse and I am not happy with how I was treated Saturday or today. One would think talking to a manager would help. But nope."

"Customer service could be much better. There are a couple men who work here who are always friendly and helpful…the others, not so much. They screwed up one on my returns and it took me a couple months and many phone calls to get my refund. The response I got from the lady was basically a shoulder shrug and she handed me a piece of paper with Amazons customer service. She could have corrected the situation in that moment but simply refused. While the location is convenient, I’ll drive out of my way to another location to avoid the bad attitudes at this location."

"I almost went to a different location (longer distance away) because of bad reviews I'd read of the Denver location. I'm glad I didn't, because I couldn't have asked for better service. The person in line in front of me was served quickly. I was then greeted with a warm welcome. I had 2 packages to return to Amazon, both of which were handled very efficiently. I'm sorry I did not get the name of the employee, but there were 2 other employees assisting other people and all were very pleasant and helpful."

I firmly believe that customer service should be fair and unbiased, and everyone should be treated equally, regardless of their background. In the end, I left the UPS Store feeling frustrated and let down. It is essential for businesses to ensure that their staff is well-trained, knowledgeable, and capable of offering quality customer service to everyone who walks through their doors. I hope that the UPS Store will take steps to improve their service and address any potential issues related to bias or discrimination in the future. In conclusion, my visit to the UPS Store was a regrettable experience due to the lack of knowledge and professionalism displayed by the staff, particularly the older lady behind the counter. While I cannot definitively confirm the presence of racism, the overall service left me with a feeling of disappointment and concern about the treatment of customers from diverse backgrounds."

"It was early morning, crowded and only 1 person working there. She was very clam and helpful. I had to rip the brown paper off my already wrapped boxed or be charged an extra fee. (who knew?). She gave me scissors and I cut off the paper. Everything went ahead successfully and I really appreciate her patience. She was also great with some other customers before me. In this day or poor customer service, I had a pleasant experience at this UPS store."
