"Good property managers. Helpful staff. Easy to work with."
"The property manager was extremely rude, moved here from Ohio and trying to better our lives and basically told us we should of stayed there till our credit was perfect. We passed eviction and passed background and our credit needs work which is what we are doing. But very very rude, felt humiliated.."

"I love angel and her husband, they are fair people and always try to get done what needs to be done. The price they gave us is pretty fair, I love that they respect our privacy."
"Living in their Unaka Village apartments has been a harrowing, TERRIBLE experience. The only reason we haven't left yet is because we simply can't afford to, what with the ridiculous $500/month rent for a unit infested with roaches, gnats and stink bugs, on top of the leaky pipes and sagging floors. We have 2 cats and pay a pet deposit of $100 EVERY MONTH, whereas everywhere else charges this type of deposit just once. The woman acts like she's doing US a favor any time we call her with a problem, even though we've NEVER been late on rent. The pest control guy they send out here every blue moon will just walk into your apartment without knocking -- he pulled this on us one morning at 9 am and when we called the landlords to complain, they said they stopped requiring him to call tenants beforehand because "they never answered the phone." Recently, we noticed water coming up from beneath the tiles in our laundry room so we called her about it and they sent out a plumber the same day. He first tried to say we must be stuffing our washer so full that the water was sloshing out from under the lid, even though we showed him where it was coming up from the floor. He cut a giant hole in the wall behind the washer and still couldn't come to a conclusion, so he said he'd talk to the landlord about further instruction and we haven't heard a word since. That was this past weekend and the floor is now sagging in some spots, making us genuinely afraid we'll fall through at some point. The walls are paper thin and the doors are NOT secure and there have been two separate occasions where someone has either walked into our apartment (in fact, this just happened about a week ago) or has knocked on our door at 3 in the morning looking for random people that don't even live here. The cops keep a pretty steady presence in the parking lot, constantly looking for different offenders. It's hands down the WORST place we've ever lived in and the landlords do little to nothing about the decrepit state of the buildings and units. UPDATE 11/29/17: Our floor is getting significantly worse, but they say they won't come out here and fix it until they can determine where the leak is coming from. They haven't done that either. UPDATE 03/02/18: The door handle has broken off the inside front door, making it impossible to LITERALLY LEAVE the apartment without prying open the door. UPDATE 03/27/18: They FINALLY fixed the door. UPDATE 05/15/18: We've finally been given the opportunity to move out, but the property manager of the new location must call NTRP as a reference. Mind you, we haven't been late one time, nor have we made an undue fuss about the state of this apartment's structural integrity (which is their responsibility). I'll report here the kind of reference they gave us."
