MountainAire at Eagles Nest

"We have stayed at MountainAire twice and loved everything about it. The location in Eagles Nest is so convient and easy to locate. The view is awesome and the comfort of the house is amazing. We loved the fireplace on the main floor and the outdoor log burning fire pit . The house is warmly decorated and comfortable furnished. The back deck has a seating area with a gas fire pit that is an ideal place for viewing the beauty of the mountains. Eagles Nest offers so many activities.We can’t wait to visit MountainAire !"

"Where do I start? If I could, I would pack up and move to Eagle's Nest! Everything you need (and more) is inside of this breathtaking community. Our stay last October was at the peak of the color change and Mountainaire offered amazing views of nature's autumn spectacle. Inside, this home is impeccably furnished/decorated and the owners change accents based on the season/holiday (we enjoyed fall/Halloween touches!). It is obvious they put a lot of time, attention and love into making this feel like home to all who stay there. Mountainaire has everything you need and then some. Lots of wonderful restaurants just outside the community but no need to eat out; this kitchen has all you need to make a home-cooked meal (or cook out on the BBQ grill). The beautiful dining table will accommodate your family, or eat al fresco on the deck with views that can't be captured in words. The fire table was a wonderful touch to keep you warm while enjoying a glass of wine and watching the sunset (see pic). There is also a firepit should you prefer a "real fire". The beds/linens were a comfy, cozy landing spot on a crisp fall night after playing the fun selection of games. No need to leave this community to find hiking, disc golf, live music, food/cocktails, convenience store and more. However, there are also a lot of hiking trails (see waterfall pic), shopping and and other attractions nearby. We rented an off-road vehicle and had a blast adventuring through the impressive trail system...all inside Eagle's Nest! We attended a concert at the onsite venue and enjoyed wood-fired pizza, cocktails and unbeatable views including an incredible sunset (see pics). I can't wait to bring family/friends back here to share this amazing home and community with others. You won't be disappointed!"

"Spectacular in the mountains! We stayed over a weekend in this pet friendly incredible retreat. Expansive view of the valley and mountains. It’s furnished better than a 5 star resort! Easy access and a welcoming floor plan. Master down and guests & bunks upstairs. Sitting on the deck with the fireplace watching deer walk right by the house. It’s just like being immersed in nature, yet having all the luxury and pampering of a resort. Simply perfect!"

"We loved our stay at MountainAire at Eagles Nest and cannot wait to visit again. The location on the mountain is alluring with spectacular views and sunsets. Its also very convenient to Banner Elk's shops and restaurants as well as skiing and other activities in the area. MountainAire is a beautifully furnished and decorated new cabin. The owners also tastefully add their personal touch to the decor as the seasons change. This affords a fantastic, comfortable and relaxing stay in a charming setting."
