"2 night stay with sisters and friends for a 50th birthday celebration in NCs wine country! One of the best experiences we’ve ever had. The hosts immediately greeted us upon arrival and instantly felt like family. Cozy and clean house with fully stocked kitchen and every inch was well decorated…it was a magical stay. We partnered with Frog Holler Wine Tours - I have a separate review for them (also 5 stars). Kapps Mills is a gift, Im grateful to have experienced it & will definitely go back 100%!"

"My family was so fortunate to spend a weekend at Kapps Mill and to host a rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding in the mill. From our first encounter, to the second we left the property our experience was nothing short of amazing. The Blydenburghs are the most warm and welcoming people. They were so accommodating, flexible and so hospitable. They helped us every step of the way and we could not have asked for a better experience. To say that they went above and beyond is an understatement. The dinner guest loved the Mill. I was amazed by the young men who were looking around and commenting on how cool the place really is. I cannot say enough about how unique and special this dinner was, simply because of this beautiful property. This place is amazing. Our family also opted to stay in the house for the weekend and boy, am I glad we did! The house is gorgeous, like something straight out of a magazine. Every detail has been thought of. The house was exceptionally clean and had every thing we needed. We enjoyed all the special touches and how comfortable we were the entire time. The fully stocked coffee bar, porch swing and creek are a little piece of heaven. My only regret is not booking extra days! Thank you Joe and Christine for a perfect weekend."

The accommodations for family who stayed on site were wonderful. It was like a home away from home. "My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed visiting the Kapps Mill Estate for their Christmas open house event last night. As soon as we reached the bridge, we were greeted by the most delightful host and owner Christine. Christine, taking the time to talk with us and share her story, and how she and her husband came to be at this wonderful estate was as interesting as the visit and tour itself. The home and the old mill were tastefully decorated for the holiday season. The Blydenburgh’s have done an amazing job in preserving the historical grace and charm of this wonderful estate. If you were not able to attend this year, you would be remiss for not making plans for a visit next year. Keenan & Teresa"
