"The kitchen was poorly stocked (literally zero regular drinking glasses, no salt, pepper, or oil, oven out of order), the indoor gas fireplace was out of order, which we were not notified about, and there was no wood for the outdoor fire (which I would expect if the indoor one can’t be used). The screens in the porch were torn, handles were falling off the porch door as well as the shower faucets. The king bed was extremely comfy, and the hot tub was nice after a long day of hiking. The cabin is pet friendly but doesn’t smell like animals, which can be hard to achieve, so props for that. The host did eventually respond to as many of my requests as possible, but it was inconvenient as we were only there two nights."
"Extremely disappointed. We booked the Anna for what we thought would be a romantic getaway. We booked 4 nights through their air b & b listing, but left as soon as we could. We paid $638 for a 4 night stay, and after requesting a refund for the 3 nights we were not going to stay due to the unsanitary conditions of the cabin, we were only granted a partial refund. They assured us that the cabin had been cleaned. (See attached pictures) We ended up paying $277 for the 6 hours we spent in the cabin. We stayed one night only because we were too tired to find another option in the middle of the night. We had been driving for 12 hours. The cabin had several air fresheners, but it could not cover the smell of the bedroom. The sheets and pillows had the smell of previous guests' sweat. The nightstand was covered with body hair. The master blinds also had a thick layer of dust and more body hair. The washcloth was the most appalling, as you can see in the picture. The shower was in need of repair and cheaply patched up. We searched for coffee, and as we opened drawers, the smell of mildewed wood began to fill the space. Looking for contact information, I noticed the binder on top of the fridge. It was sticky and dirty. The smell coming from the binder was worse than the smell from the drawers. We cleared the sheets and pillow cases and placed them in the tub as instructed in hopes that they would be washed for the next guests. The pillow showed several sweat stains. The smell in the bedroom was so bad that it was hard to fall asleep."
"Lovely cabin with great amenities. Built in a nice mountain forest area in a cabin neighborhood. Gravel road up to it was short and decently maintained. The AC left me sneezy whenever it turned on so maybe problematic if you have allergies but otherwise a lovely stay."
"We came up to enjoy our 10 year anniversary at your cabins because it was where we stayed on our honeymoon. Boy, how things have changed! We get there and the fireplace was not working. We followed the detailed instructions and that was to not do ANYTHING other than what was on the instructions and if it didn't work to call and ask for assistance. After several texts, emails and calls someone finally came to light the pilot light that we knew was not on. So, here we spend 2 of our 3 nights without a fireplace with the high Temps in the daytime not getting past the mid 40s and lows in upper 20s at night. The fireplace is one of the main things we initially enjoyed about your cabins. My biggest issue with the whole trip was the absolute disregard of care and concern for your guests/customers to fix a issue that was brought to your attention. There has definitely been a change in who and how your cabins are being maintained and it shows."
