Laurel Point Villa

"Beautiful mountain views and very relaxing. The Villa couldn't be more accommodating with great furnishings, appliances, Cooking and serving utensils, comfortable beds and very clean."

"First the views are spectacular and is the reason we booked the house. We have stayed in several different cabins/houses in the Blue Ridge Mountains and for the price this house is lacking in maintenance. The master bedroom area smelled so bad of a “musty mold smell” we had to sleep on the couch a couple of nights. There were spider/spiderwebs in the master bathroom. The downstairs outside looked in such disarray due to construction. It should have been kept neat if the house is rented. Windows and doors were unlocked upon arrival. The grill needs to be replaced. The grill grates were rusted and we couldn’t cook on them. Nothing to clean the grill with so we had to use tin foil for the cooking surface. There were outside lights burned out. Lastly, maybe this house just makes a lot of weird noises at night but I wouldn’t be shocked if someone told me it was haunted."

"Amazing home with spectacular views! Very quiet, private location. The home has many upgrades and space to really spread out. The deck is my favorite place to be, you can see for probably hundreds of miles, unless the fog has set it, but even that is stunning in it's own way."

"Stayed at the smaller Cottage portion. Very nicely sized House. The View from the back deck was spectacular. The drive up to the house from the Blue Ridge was not bad at all. [no steep corners/sheer down offs/etc.]. Would probably even be no big deal in the snow and ice of winter. Meadows of Dan is a super small, cute town, with a couple of Country Stores. We enjoyed hiking Rocky Knob and Buffalo Mountain."
