Little Peak Creek Farm

"We have stayed at Little Peak Creek every fall or summer for the last 10 years. It has become our annual family tradition that we look forward to and my daughter has gotten to grow up with the farm animals which has been super fun. It’s a gorgeous setting with lots of views and options for hiking, and the houses are both so unique and beautiful. Lisa and Steve are wonderful, friendly hosts, and we love their doggies too!"

For once you’ve picked your jaw off the floor from the absolutely stunning surroundings, you will be blown away by the thoughtfulness of your hosts. They have seen to literally every detail and have stocked their charming home with all that you need to have a cozy, comfortable and utterly relaxing experience. Not only are the hosts incredibly kind and thoughtful, they are talented beyond words and have decorated this charming treehouse with art, furniture and decorations of their own design and making. Amazing! Upon our arrival, there was a fire glowing in the fireplace, lights on, music softly playing and a welcome basket fresh from the farm including newly laid eggs, blackberry jam and homemade banana bread. Yum! Since Stephen and Lisa have taken care of EVERYTHING and will make sure your stay is beyond expectations - we’ll just leave you with a couple of pro-tips: Take the time to hike the property - you can your stress just melt away. Lookout #1 is breathtaking and a perfect place to watch the sunrise. Well worth the hike Visit the barn. The animals form their own little welcoming committee Visit the charming town of West Jefferson (Bohemia Coffee Shop needs to be your first stop - best chai tea latte ever). Cute shops. Great places to eat. You could spend the whole day exploring and still want more If you’ve never explored the BlueRidge Parkway, it’s a short drive and this particular stretch is full of glorious vistas and plenty of pull-offs for photo opportunities Take at least a moment to step outside at night. The stars are so close you can just reach out and touch them. Go one step farther and enjoy a fire in the fire-pit, some s’mores and a bottle of wine and you have the makings of one heck of a memorable evening We are already planning our return trip and have encouraged everyone we know to book some time here for themselves. When everyone seems to be searching for a little serenity, it’s such good fortune to know that a place like this still exists. It’s a little piece of heaven!"
