"This charming and blissful family owned and run business is a staple in our community, and today was a great reminder why! Hannah, the owners' daughter, was so patient and helpful as I dropped by to pick up a local "Thank you" gift and a closing gift for a real estate transaction. I ended up spending an hour there, leaving with so much more, as is the case every time I visit either of the two 'The Mustard Seed's' locations. No closing gift, hostess gift, plants, trees, or self-love treats get better than the wonderfully procured treasures this family-run, small-town marketplace offers! And the folks who help me pull my "finds" together into the perfectly thoughtful gifts every time are priceless. One of the rare businesses that has kept the meaning in 'local' and lovely, and makes me feel like I am still in the tiny, beautiful, special mountain town I grew up in. A visit to Blowing Rock without a visit to their Home shop, Artisan Market, or Garden shop is only a half-visit in my mind! Love this place (both Blowing Rock locations). Love this family... and their dogs, (one of which our family trekked out in a blizzard to help find a couple years ago... small-town loyalties, lol). Love our charming town and the fact that The Mustard Seed Market and Home Shop help us all beautify and share our rich mountain experience with so many. There's not enough I can say! FIVE-stars!!
