"Love this cabin. Clean and comfortable. Everything you need already in place. The cabin does have lots of stairs. The rocking chairs on the front porch made you feel like you were home."

"We stayed in the Claty Bell. It is s great cabin. Close to all you might want to do in Boone and Blowing Rock. It was clean and tidy on the inside. There is only an ac window unit up stairs but with trees for shade it was not too hot downstairs to stay in the cabin for the day at the last of June. Our only complaint is the roof leak on each corner of the front porch which makes it so you wouldn't want to get in the hot tub when it is raining. We throughly enjoyed ourselves and will stay again."

"Nice little cabin with a hot tub on the front deck (A huge plus). The cabin does NOT have central air conditioning but does have a window unit upstairs. If you are planning to eat breakfast and leave for the day, returning at night to sleep, the cabin is doable. However, if u are planning to stay in the cabin, the downstairs is hot and uncomfortable during the day. I would suggest a window a/c downstairs as well (we brought two fans and were glad we did). Overall not too bad."

"My wife, son and I stayed at the Fox Den cabin for the weekend and loved it. Cozy little cabin with beautiful view from the bedroom window. Our son is pretty young so the location was ideal since it’s about 15 mins to downtown Blowing Rock or downtown Boone. Would definitely go again."

"My family and I had a lovely time here! The Fox Den is great. The front-deck jacuzzi was a favorite of our 3 year old. Great views, especially the sunrise right from our bedroom window. Quick drive to many parks, trails, and downtown Boone/App State. Would visit again!"
