"My daughter is special needs, it was fully disclosed her teacher on Wed class does not have experience working with special needs expelled her from the class after 1 class. The teacher doesn't want parents observing or coming in the class when their child is scared. They admitted that the class fluctuate between 3 to 4 students and down to 1.. my question was why? If there is a fluctuation and instability in that class it may me wonder why? What is that teacher doing, not wanting parents of 3 and 4 years not to be around, and the class having that much of an instability of students. Even though her Thursday teacher and I talked there seem to be no issue, the so-called school stated the teacher was uncomfortable in approaching me after this post... I included a photo to show their teachers are inexperienced with disabled children. They stated, " you open the observation windows " well, I was told you could observe the children, then they don't say anything, they put up signs that say " you can't observe but the first of the month. This has been the only school, that the teachers will say, "they did great in class" and the office staff will say the teacher was uncomfortable approaching you... in my book this is not professional. They do not have private conversations with you, they make sure its public. They don't tell you what to expect, all of a sudden there's a sign posted.... their website says professional teachers, but their actions, and their own emails stating inexperienced says other wise. If you go to my photos you can read their full email yourself. They ask me to amend my post I asked them to amend their website to state the true experience of each teacher"
"I have danced for this studio for 12 years! I absolutely love Mrs. Linda and her staff!"
"After trying two other dance studios before this one for my daughter, I found the quality of instruction superior than the others. Three years later, my daughter has come so far and genuinely has become attached to all the instructors! I couldn't ask for a better studio than this one and I highly recommend anyone with a child interested in dance to start here."
"I pulled my daughter out of this facility after about 3 classes. My daughter has been around family ever since she was born. Naturally, she was going to have separation anxiety as majority of kids exhibit this behavior when they are in an unfamiliar setting. As an experienced Pre-Kindergarten teacher, I know this to be prevalent and developmentally appropriate amongst young children. After her second class I was approached by a lady at the front desk who receives payments. She asked me if the teacher had spoken to me. I replied, "Spoken to me about what?" She stated, " Since your daughter doesn't seem to be adjusting well, We think you should wait a few months and bring her back when she's older. ( this was in front of other parents with my daughter present might I add) I sat in on one of the classes. There were children younger than my daughter and children that were older. In particular, there was an older girl there who totally disregarded the teachers. She ran around the room and even spat at a few of the other children. Yet, somehow my daughter who was naturally experiencing separation anxiety was a bigger distraction than the little girl who obviously lacked foundational parenting. The following week, the teacher approached me. She stated that my daughter had adjusted well and wanted to know if I would put her in the recital. So first she wasn't adjusting and then after one more class she was all of the sudden adjusting? What they have is a staff that clearly is incapable of deciding what adjustment actually entails. The lady at the front counter should have never approached me. The teacher should have initially expressed her concerns to me. I have now found a dance facility of QUALITY where she actually learns the basic foundations of dance. If you want your young child to develop the skill of dance as well as the art of dance this place is not sufficient. It is a playdate. If your teachers are not equipped to handle the development of preschool aged children do not advertise to preschool aged children. UPDATE: I posted a review on Facebook. You would think the business would be open to addressing my concerns along with the conduct of the staff. Instead, the business reported my review and had it removed. Go figure!"
"My 9-year-old daughter has been dancing at this studio for over a year now, and I must admit, this is by far the best facility we have been to! The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and they TEACH the children. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone that wants their child to succeed in dance!"
